I have been in and out of these forums looking for comparisons between omaha and other mid-sized cities, and i've seen a general trend:
joker probably born and raised in omaha touts it as world class, joker who's probably never been out of their town bashes it relentlessly, becomes penis measuring contest and stupidity ensues. It's kinda funny.
How does omaha compare?
Born on the mississippi gulf coast (Ugh), raised in SoCal for ten years (ugh), and being military I've seen a few places and I'd say Omaha is a good city for it's size (great music scene, okay night scene) and yet can be like the rest of the midwest at times (kinda boring, although Des Moines is a lot worse). It's not world class, but it is a vibrant city that seems to be going through the typical growing pains and handling them pretty well.
You're thoughts...? And, please, no measuring here...

There have been other "city vs everyone else" threads, and they all immediately close. I don't see anything different about this thread.
