Alrighty folks! You asked for a fun alternative to the "New York City vs. Los Angeles" polls, so now is your opportunity to vote for which chronically over-hyped City-Data community you love the most! Will it be Omaha, home of Warren Buffet, a big pedestrian bridge, and a bustling downtown, or will it be Scranton, home of Sen. Hillary Clinton, "The Office", and coal mines? Omaha's biggest export seems to be the ego of its residents. Scranton's biggest export seems to be its people---young and old alike.

Discuss!

I don't know. I haven't been to either places. I would like to go to both, though.

It's okay. This poll is just meant to be tongue-in-cheek. Perhaps Go Ne, ehenningsen, and the other Omaha boosters, and I, the lone Scranton booster, should wager a bet on this. If Scranton loses, I'll eat an ear of corn. If Omaha loses, they'll have to watch "The Office."

Neither have major-league sports, a big minus, but i'll take Omaha because they have a better chance of getting a big-league team than scraton. that's all i gotta say about this! I think it's time we come up with new cities to hype up. Any1 got any nominees?

Well, I would choose Scranton because of its proximity to the mountains.

Pros about Omaha: Extended family is there.

Cons about Omaha: Extended family is there.

Pros about Scranton: ScranBarre is there.

Cons about Scranton: DH would NEVER, in a million years, live there (he being from Omaha).

Toss-up. I"m not voting, just talking.
