Possibly. Maybe you can post a picture? BTW, I like Shreveport. Very nice by the Red River.

This might help: Gilbert Ave at Southfield, shreveport, la - Google Maps

It looks like a long street with nice, historic homes.

Yeah that's nice, but I don't think it's as beautiful as South Belvedere Boulevard in Memphis:

I'd rather have a clean urban upscale row house street than that, but that's just me. IMO there's millions of neighborhood streets better than that lol. This is a much better neighborhood in my opinion.
20 story residential/ urban grocery stre/ row homes across the street with little shops, etc.

Looks horrible and pretty suburban. You should've used an example of the rowhouses in NYC or something.

Gilbert @ Southfield has what is known in Shreveport as "thrill hill" which was once known for sledding in the winter when we actually got snow. A rather steep hill, a driver doesn't know he is going to descend down at a 8% grade until he begins the descent. The neighborhood has homes from the 1920's to the 1970's and looks a little hodge podge due to to this although some of the homes have some interesting architecture. Not cookie cutter by any means, these homes were all custom built in their day; mostly professional people live around here. Off of Southfield about 3 blocks to the west the area is known as uptown where more exclusive shop, boutiques, restaurants abound.
