If you are including the entire metro area (as I see someone has for Atlanta), then I would have to include Seattle. Not only has downtown Seattle added a lot of density in the 2000's, but Bellevue is one of the, if not THE most increased density cities in the U.S. in the past decade.
I agree...Bellevue in the last 10 years has grown from a mall to this:
Chicago should be mentioned. In 2000, it was still a great skyline, but in 2010, it looks noticeably beefier. I must say Chicago has constructed quite a number of really big buildings that really did take a mark on its skyline. I mean four 800+ footers have been constructed there.
