So blacks are moving to Maryland and blacks "and" whites are moving to Virginia. Wonder how much of that applies to the DC area because I find it surprising that Maryland lost so many whites.

Most of this is due to birth rates, not movement of people.

You know, there's a discrepancy between those numbers and the census numbers (at least in the above reports) and I just figured out what it is:

The census reports included Asian Hispanics and Black Hispanics in the "Alone" category, while separating out Non-Hispanic Whites and Hispanics.

Blah, who wants to redo all these numbers to reflect that? My head hurts too much.
