NYC rarely gets snow on Christmas too believe it or not. NYC isn't really a true Northern city (geographically) either, its more of a "middle city". I've honestly never even experienced a White Christmas in NYC.

I found this interesting:
White Christmas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cities such as Nashville & Louisville have a greater chance at seeing a White Christmas. Even London, England has a higher chance at a White Christmas than NYC.
