Aurora, IL is better. close to a big city, has a better downtown, denser ect. Aurora, Co on the other hand is practically in the middle of nowhere, more suburban in character, and 3x as less dense.

Practically the middle of nowhere? It borders Denver! It also is the location of the University of Colorado Health Science Center, e.g. med school, pharmacy school, physical therapy school, dental school, nursing school, etc. I'd like to see some statistics that show it is 3X lesss dense than Aurora, IL.

Its not 3x, but Aurora,Co is less dense than Aurora, IL

Aurora, IL- 4,435 pop density
Aurora, CO- 2,188 pop density

Aurora, CO pop. is much bigger though

Third largest city in Colorado, I believe. Right behind Denver and Colorado Springs. Not your mother's suburb, it's a city! The downtown is a bit "shabby-chic", IMO. But hey, it's walkable.

Six of one, half dozen of the other. Both are cookie-cutter suburbs of big cities.

You mean the picture at the top of the page showing an army base? That is now closed? With the caption dating the photo to 1973? There's a good way to judge a community, not much has changed since '73.

yea and google images is an even better way. google Aurora, Co and the pictures still look like there taken in the middle of nowhere. not the pictures inside the city of course, but the ones where the background is visible.
