anybody here live in Brook Park? My wife and I have pretty much settled on moving to the Berea school district. we like Middleburg Hts. alot but we're also gonna take a look at Brook Park as well. Is it safe there? I know about the seedy strip club area, but I'm talking residential areas. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Brookpark is pretty safe. Pretty underated suburb, I think. Taxes are low probably because of the airport. Doesn't get much mention around here probably because it is so small. Berea doesn't get much love here either and is a fine suburb.

Brook Park is a very safe suburb. Even the cheap rent apartments on Glenway (just off engle by the tracks) are very safe. The residents are mostly blue collar and the housing stock is very bland but its got a great rec center and the schools are completely fine. Lots of what I call "wannabe's" but they are completely harmless aside from foul mouths, loud radios and 2nd hand smoke emissions.

Thanks. Are there an areas that we should avoid buying in? We were going to look around Smith to W. 130th between Holland and Snow. How is it over there?
