What is downtown Cleveland's Population? Is it approaching 20,000, are there any plans to put high end retail storefronts downtown and are there any parks or any other things to attract people planned?

I believe it is around 14,000. Which is a lot better than cities like Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Buffalo. But it will still take a while before it reaches 20,000. There are quite a bit of new places opening up down by CSU and 668 on Euclid, as well as the Warehouse District and some on East Fourth.

High end clothing in downtown??? Not likely to happen anytime soon, heck, even Dillard's didn't stay downtown. I think there is a Brooks Brothers in Tower City, though. I haven't been in Tower City in a while but there could still be some good clothing stores. The Apple store is in Lyndhurst and your best bet for high end clothing retailers would be at Beachwood Place (though I wouldn't consider Hollister or American Eagle to be "high end" and they can be found at just about any suburban mall.)

What about the avenue district condos, is it foreclosed on or is it still open? I;ve heard rumors that it was asked to be foreclosed on by some company. Is that true and did that happen?

I know the people that "bought" condos there are now suing the developer.

Why are they suing and so are the condos still open and for sale or was that development project a bust?
