I love the great press Cleveland has been getting lately, but does anyone else find it interesting that in within a few years Cleveland has gone from topping many of "The Worst of..." lists to getting a large amount of positive press?

Things are definitely moving in a better direction but Cleveland has not changed that much that fast. The outside world just catching up with what we all knew already? Has Cleveland gotten on the hype train like Detroit did previously? What do you think?

All these lists measure is perception, so take this for what it is.

This list can also be called ''Creating a Better Perception of Cleveland''.

You have to take ALL of these lists, good or bad, with a grain of salt. THAT'S how we can be "most Miserable" one year and "best place to raise a family" the next.

One of the criteria for us being MOST MISERABLE on the Forbes list was because our sports teams are horrendous. Really?

I, for one, couldn't care less about sports teams and their performance. They have absolutely no impact on whether I'm happy or miserable wherever I'm living.

I definitely think Cleveland is on the right track after about a decade of overall stagnance, but these lists are complete horse manure meant to drive magazine sales or website clicks.

There are a lot of Cleveland puff pieces floating around lately. It's fine I guess... better than the opposite, right? But they almost always lack objectivity... most of these listicles are click-bait, to be sure.

And like the rest of you, I do believe the city is on the right track...

These responses are what I like about Clevelanders, they accept this kind of stuff with a nod and a grin; they don't let it go to their heads.
