It's a beautiful venue. Any other thoughts on uses?

Or is it possible that as CSU becomes increasingly residential that basketball will suffice?

Cleveland needs a legacy rock venue. If I were CSU I would get a promoter to organize a show for an old-fashioned rock experience, perhaps using local or regional talent. Imagine imitators of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Big Bopper and more.

The floor could be used for dancing.

I remember seeing clips of Elviis Presley's first concert north of the Mason-Dixon line in Brooklyn High School's gym (Cleveland suburb of Brooklyn). That could be the model.

Visitors to the Rock Hall would flock to it. It could start off as a monthly concert and then expand, depending upon demand.

I know that the Agora to some degree serves that purpose (or does it? IDK) but even so, that is a GREAT IDEA! Do you think making those modifications to it and perhaps shrinking size at one end so it seated like 10,000 in Horseshoe form, would still allow it to be used for basketball season?

I'm not an expert on the Wolstein Center. Are you proposing to remove seating to add a permanent stage? That's perhaps is worth exploring.

My memory is that the Wolstein Center is very concert ready in its existing format, so spending the funds to modify it must fit into some business plan that provides sufficient upside.
