I support free speech wholeheartedly. What I don't endorse is the owner of the Stingray Cafe being a complete hypocrite. This couple's money was acceptable enough to his hateful pseudo-Christianity morality wasn't it?
He took their money and then wrote his insulting note and presented it to the couple AFTER he took their money.
His comment on the note about his daughter and grandson proved his comments were not made from any "kind and loving" effort in trying to save souls, but was a personal family issue he took out on the unfortunate customers.
A lesbian couple living in New Bern, N.C., had just finished their meal at the Stingray Cafe in downtown New Bern when they say the restaurant’s owner handed them a letter condemning them.
That implies that we're in the last days which the Bible also says God only knows when that is. Maybe the guy is God if he knows that and they are lesbian. I mean unless they were making out (which I'd have a problem with) or wearing "I AM GAY" t-shirts, what magic powers did he use? Sounds like he stereotyped them on top of everything else.

In what was reported the couple claim they was holding hands.

It's equally likely he's lying about that part. Either way, what a sad person.
Had a great lunch at Stingrays today. Scallop and oyster combo. I counted 11 tables/booths occupied. The most I have ever seen, so I guess an ill conceived boycott failed.
While I was there to eat lunch, I did overhear the waitress tell the folks in the adjacent booth, that she had waited on the two ladies and they were "aggressively kissing". Just saying.
God bless all his children, and by the way, if you want to be concerned about something, be concerned about some of the folks toting ' guns out of the Gun Show! OMG!!!
