On march 11th 2014 , a co-worker and myself saw a cougar at the edge of a field not more than 50 yards from us. Has anyone else seen anything like this in pitt co?o

Red wolf, coyote or bob cat. You can only pick one and it must be one of these 3. There are no mountain lions, pumas or cougars in Eastern Carolina.

I disagree.... Come to New Bern... there are PLENTY of Cougars here!

I knew a guy in Columbus county that had a cougar and a black panther roaming his farm a few years ago, so it's probably true, and yes I'm only talking about the animals.

Maybe the mountain lions are hot on the trail of the 500 pound wild pigs that inhabit the woods of Eastern NC -- that's a lot of pig meat for the cats...
