I am moving to Greenville, NC for school and have a low credit score. I plan to get employment part-time (more than likely minimum wage).
Are there any safe apartments near ECU that accept a higher deposit or other deals for people with low credit and possibly not enough income to cover rent (3X the monthly rent is generally the requirement to be considered as enough income to have an accepted application).
In addition to this: Are you aware of any apartments that work with financial aid? I am not talking about waiting until financial aid comes in and THEN moving into an apartment. I am talking about having a financial aid letter from ECU stating how much I will receive and then let me move in before the financial refund check comes in.
I really want to rent an entire unit, not per room, as I have a custody agreement and would like to at least have a 2BR apartment (I am willing to have a studio or 1BR if it will work with me financially).
