I am going to be moving to Greenville in June to work at the hospital. I was wondering if anybody had information on apartments in town, since I may not be able make it down to look at them before signing a lease.

I am a young, single male and I don't know anybody in Greenville so I would like a place that has younger people I could meet rather than older married couples. However, I would like to stay in one of the newer/nicer complexes.

I would prefer something near the hospital and close to downtown. My search so far has yielded Treybrooke, Waterford Place, Meridian Park, and the Point at Wimbledon. Any information on these places would be appreciated.

I lived at the Pointe at Wimbledon for three years and enjoyed it. It is further from the hospital, though, than the other places you listed.

I live at The Pointe at Wimbledon and have been here about a year now. I love it! I have not had any problems at all and everyone is really nice. There's a good mix of residents here as far as age range goes. It does not take me long at all to get to the Hospital where I work. I also go to grad school at ECU and it takes me about 5-10 minutes to get there. I looked at all of the "nicer" apartment complexes in town and this one is the only one I would recommend.

Goodluck!

We lived at Meridian Park, and it is definitely on the "quieter" side. We liked it, because we ARE a middle-aged couple with no kids! The pluses for us were that it is safe, and lots of area to walk and play with the dogs. The minus is that it's not really close to anything - you have to drive to wherever you want to go. Good luck!

Treybrook is directly across from hospital. You can see the hospital from the apartment complex. And downtow(where more young people hang out) is less than a mile and a half. I think you will like Treybrook a lot.
GOOD LUCK.
