Hi. I am vacationing in Duck in the summer. My husband can not take the full week off and was planning on meeting us down there. I feel it is stupid for him to drive and then we will have 2 cars to drive back in at the same time.
So, I am trying to figure out the fastest 1 way commute for him to get to Duck and then he could just go back home with me in my car.
What would you recommend? Which airport would be the closest to Duck? Closest Amtrak it seems that Newport News, VA would be the closest, No?
Any suggestions? Money is not the issue. Time and convenience is.
There is a small landing strip just north of Duck which is really right there 5 minute drive, otherwise the closest airport is going to be Norfolk which that time of year is 2 hours + from Duck on a good day. You know anyone who flys small planes, may want to look into a charter.
