I had nothing to do today so I decided to look at guitars on E-bay. While searching E-bay I came across a bunch of autographed guitars for sale. These weren't just any guitars, these were pawn store, made in China, entry level, lowest of the bottom line guitars that aren't worth more than $100 in great shape. These autographed guitars were ranging anywhere from $400-$3000. I even saw a $10,000 buy-it-now Squire Strat signed by Brian May, and a $40,000 guitar signed by Paul McCartny. That's like buying an old Mustang, and putting Carroll Shelby's autograph on it and trying to sell it for ten times the value. Am I the only one who sees this???

I always wanted to buy an authentic autographed guitar. But I am so afraid of getting something fake.

I wonder what is the reasonable price for these guitar. I also have been searching on ebay, and I've seen several guitars I really like. Wondering if these guitars are authentic.

The only worth it (in my opinion) providing that's it's not a fake, which it doesn't look like would be the Les Paul R9.

The scary part is that all these sellers have 100 or over 95% positive feedback..

Like on Pawn Stars, faked a lot. And just because they're signed doesn't mean they were played by that person. Caveat emptor.

Just because that is what they're pricing them at, doesn't mean they're actually selling. Lots of stuff on ebay never sells and no, the prices don't get lower when they're relisted. I don't get it, but it happens all the time.

I don't see it. I'll only give the market value for any used guitar based on it's brand, model, year and condition. New or used, it also has to have a great sound.
