In my 82 years, I have never been to a thrift store, always lived rural. Closest thrift store would be 50 miles away.

Found a No.6 Indian head Louisville Pottern crock for son and DIL. They had been looking for one to hold fireplace tools and kindling. It was $80. Not sure if it was a bargain, but it had no chips or cracks, so I felt like it was a good price.

Like this, but mine had no flaws...

Today I went to a reg record store and man did I make out GOOD!!

First I got 6 records

1) U2 - Boy
2) U2 - October
3) Dokken - Tooth and Nail
4) Alice Cooper - Welcome to my nightmare
5) A 45: Wilbert Harrison - Kansas City/Listen, My darling
6) Whitesnake - Here I go again (A single of thier 1987 remix of this song plus 2 others on side 2 (Full size 45rpm (Same size as a 33)) I have listenend to side 2 so far and the songs sound gorgoues like they were still using analogue in 1987! (Which by that time it was falling off fast ) I was worried it wouldnt sound good seeing its 1987 but they sure do!!

The songs on side 2 are

Children of the night
Your gonna break my heart again

Then I noticed they had put some VHS tapes in the front of the store!!!! -- All music!!!!!

I got Metallica (2 tape set) "A year and a half in the life of"

Then someone was mentioning 8 track tapes and I asked them if they had any (I had asked before and they said NO not enough ppl want them) -- When I asked today they said they had boxes of them.. (Not on the floor) I asked if they would please bring me 1 box to look thru which they did....

I got 1 cartridge: John sebastion - The four of us

Wow what a day!!

Old school electric pencil sharpener for a buck.

One of those cases where old is much much better than new.
