Did your college professor ever do weird things in class? My professor would arrive in class by throwing himself on the floor and crying. Thoughts?

Did he really hate his job that much? or was he teaching psychology and it was the classes task to diagnos him?

I think the best professors are animated and practise antics to teach and make the class fun. One of my best college professors was very animated and she had great stories. It helped considering the subject was a classical music appreciation class.

He didn't like the job. He would come in saying some raw things, cursing out, falling on the floor, and would smile at us when we got a bad grade in our faces.

I had some math teachers who wore some strange, but appropriate ties - one had Pi on it - but other than that, mine were on the straight and narrow. The year before I had arrived, they had managed to fire several of the dope-smoking ones who were in several different departments. One stoner lectured for 50 minutes one time on the sex life of cockroaches and that was a literature class.

I'm glad I missed that.

I had a history professor who didn't do any antics but would tell a joke or tell about people in history and some unknown "fact" about them. One fact that embarrassed the girl sitting next to me like crazy was about Ben Franklin and a certain body part that was known for it's size and how all the "ladies of the evening" in Paris started getting all excited when they heard Franklin was coming from the "colonies". There's plenty more but I'll stop at that one. lol
