So, wife was employed as an IT help desk for nearly 2 years. Then she quit to take care of our baby.

She wants to join the workforce again, preferably as a network administrator, or in the field of network security (essentially something that can help her get out of the "taking calls" work).

What are the courses she can do to help her get into the desired job profiles (preferably courses that do not have a glut of certified professionals)?

Will ITIL help?

Thanks for your help.

CCENT or CCNA... ITIL will probably not land that network job she's looking for. If she gets ITIL it compliments her helpdesk experience.

Just Google "Linux jobs" and you'll be convinced that stellastar2345 is a genius.
