I am planning on going back to school and taking on-line classes to receive my MBA. I would like to find the most painless way to receive my MBA; and resonably priced. I need the University to be accredited. I was recommended to the University of Phoenix. What can you tell me about their MBA program? Any other ideas?

Does painless mean easy?

It may mean easy, but I don't think achieving my MBA is going to be easy. I want to make sure I am still getting the propper value out of my degree. I am looking for the most resonable degree for the time and money invested. Thanks!

MBA depreciates as fast as your car nowadays. Unless you go to a top tier b-school, it's not worth it.

I know that firms hiring MBAs around here will bypass candidates with a Univ of Phoenix degree.

I would check out the state universities where you live. Many have online MBA programs now that are accredited by the AACB (I think I messed up that acronym....errr...)

My boss told me in passing once that he throws out any resumes with online degrees without even reading them. Not saying if that is right or wrong, but that is the thought process. Rei is right also...MBAs are a dime a dozen. People want specialization anymore, get a masters in ____ (finance, accounting, IT, engineering) and it might do you more good.

Painless = easy = worthless...

No pain, no gain

Most MBA programs today have the rigour of undergraduate programs of 20 years ago.
