Well, for some it's not intuitive to be dishonest. Certainly, it's less of an issue for others.

So if you left your car unlocked accidentally and someone stole it you would be fine with it because they 'found it'?

Or are you just scum who doesn't have a moral compass?

I guess I just don't have a moral compass. If someone wants to steal my car, please do.. burn it out before you give it back to me, I've got insurance and I hate the thing!

You do realize attitudes like this are why our insurance premiums are so high, don't you?

Try this thing called considering someone other than yourself. It will make you seem like less of an a**

Everyone, including you, does the same thing as me. That is, looking out for number one.

Nah, actually thats not it at all..lol. Unfortunately.
Insurance companies make more than enough profit to absorb any fraud they encounter without raising premiums. They raise premiums because they know you and I will keep paying...

Whatever you need to tell yourself so you can sleep at night, right?

I would rather live in a hole in the wall (which I do) and help other people (which I do, financially) as well as be honest than be dishonest just to make a quick dollar.

I would rather be poor and honest than wealthy and just another pathetic thief.

Careful, your ignorance is showing. Any fraud cuts into profits. I am not going to explain this because anyone with half a brain knows this makes sense.

People may unintentionally steal, or engage in dubious activities (thinking of ingorant consumerism in light of labor practices in other nations), but that's different than doing so while knowing what you're doing. Some people find stealing abhorrent. And some will sacrifice for the sake of another. You might be in greater company, but I wouldn't say honest folk are a minority either.
