Hi all! I'm here visiting CS until Feb 5th and I'm wanting to take my daughter tubing. Where is the closest place or easiest to drive to (2 hours away max)? I read somewhere Mueller Park in Divide, but do they have tubes to rent and is there enough snow there right now? Thanks for all your help!

I do not think that Mueller State Park has tubing. But you could check out Frisco (near Dillon) off I70 (approx. 1 1/2 hours away). They have a "professional" tubing place. Tubbing, Sledding at Frisco Adventure Park, Colorado | Town of Frisco
Make sure to check our their timings before you head out. There might be something nearer to us, but that's the only tubing place I know off.
Have fun if you go!

There is a place near Mueller where people go tubing but I can't remember what it is called - and it is not an official place, so please just bring their own tubes. I'm not sure there's enough snow right now; I haven't been up there.

Breckenridge has a cool hill where people sled. I don't know if they rent tubes/sleds. It's by the doggie park! It's tons of fun! I'm 40 and took my nephew and I think I had more fun than he did!! It's kind of steep so you get some good speed!! Breck is probably about 2.25 hours from Colorado Springs. I bet there are closer places but I'm just not sure where. Hope this helps! Have fun!

This is a small sledding/tubing area in Monument, about 20 minutes north of COS. Not sure if it'll have enough snow when you're here. The runs are short, but hiking back up is easy. There is a map on the Woodmoor website under neighborhood> common areas> tobaggon hill.

This is a fun place to go, but (unless we get a snow storm in the next few days) there won't be enough snow right now

Breckenridge also has a large snow sculpting event going on this weekend...so you could go sledding and see the snow sculptures! Just a thought.
