Hi I was wondering what is the average price for a paint job on a car to re touch it like it was coming out of the dealer again type of paint? Also is there a good one anyone recommends in Colorado springs? I tried google, but prices vary from state. Like in Miami the average is like 300. So anyone have actual experience with this?

I have an 05 lexus rx330 (SUV) which I love and do plan to keep for many years more. but some parts have been chipping. would it be better to repaint the entire car or just touch up the chips?

or is there an actual product I can buy and use on the car something like those "as seen on TV"

Agree w/Regajohn. I've used Dr. Colorchip for years. No gloppy mess like you get with the usual applicators. Use it correctly and it's a smooth application and result. Particularly good for very small chips. Not quite as good for larger chips, but still better than any other touch up paint, short of having it done professionally. Also, they match your factory paint code.

It's a little intimidating to use at first. You apply with a little applicator brush, then use your finger (in a rubber glove that's supplied) to smear it. Let it dry for a few minutes, then wipe it with a reducer solution that removes the excess paint. Leaves a nice neat touch up.
