I went to visit a friend the other day and although I knew of these sculptures I had never bothered to look into where they were - lo and behold I fell upon them on this day and they are outstanding. Apparently he sold to collectors around the United States. Rather a sad story of a genius gone too soon. There was a lot of controversy over these sculptures as at one point it brought tour bus loads of people. Access to view them is via some very narrow streets and the neighbors were not happy and tried to get them moved. After his untimely death, his daughter fought the city to keep them on the grounds of his home and she succeeded. Well worth a visit when you come through. All of them have moving parts so when the wind blows they are mesmerizing to watch.

There are some by UCCS on Nevada apparently but they will be removed (so they say) in 2020 but don't say when.

The sculptures around UCCS will be rotating so they do not get ruined in our harsh climate.

I accidentally came upon his house driving in the Broadmoor/Cheyenne Mt. area in 1987...my mouth dropped!
Don't know if I could find it again.
Artistic and mechanical genius, imo.
