Hello, My family and I are looking into moving to the Parachute area. The thing is that I have several dogs and I don't want to move anywhere that there would be a hassle. I know that Rifle does not have a limit on how many dogs you can have but I'm not too sure about Parachute. If anyone knows the dog ordinances I'd truly appreciate your help. Also we have to live within 15 miles of Parachute for my husband's job... I also may need to rent a little while before I can buy...

Thanks!

Google is your friend. I was bored so here's everything you ever wanted to know about Parachute animal ordinances.

I think parachuting dogs should be outlawed. I've seen way too many forget to pull the ripcord.

Do parachuting dogs in Parachute get free parachutes?

Roximama, the ordinances that Jim provided had to do with licensing, etc. Limits on numbers and types of animals that can be kept as household pets generally are found in the zoning ordinances. I suggest that you save yourself trouble and future possible heartache and just call the town hall and ask them.

While you're at it, ask them if they provide free parachutes...........

Thanks Dreaming, I will call this week. I looked over their zoning laws too and it's not looking like they have a limit. It also appears that there are no free poochychutes either...damn.
