Hi everyone,

First I just want to say how helpful this forum has been for my research.

Second, I would like to hear your insights on my upcoming relo to CO.

Wife and I want to move to Denver area (just outside where we can get a house) by spring next year.

She is a registered nurse and I'm a communications manager (PR person) in NYC.

We have family in Monument, and want to leave the NYC life for CO life.

I know there is a lot of health care in CO, so she *should* be able to get a nurse job.

But how about the PR, communications, media relations industry? I'm a 6 year professional, and willing to take a modest pay cut.

I'd really apprecaite any of your thoughts.

Thanks.

-Matt

You're willing to take a "modest" pay cut from NYC.

I lived on Long Island, and worked in NYC along with my wife, and all I can tell you is that you better prepare yourself for a little more than "modest" pay decrease.

Hell, the way the economy continually declines into the proverbial crapper, pay will become even less.

I say a job listing for a 1st year attorney for $20/hr just to put things into perspective.
