Parking - here and there
I was briefly in Aspen a couple summers ago, with little problem in parking.Telluride has adopted the growing trend of taxing their visitors further by installing high-falluting parking meters throughout town. If memory serves, aside from coins they even accepted credit cards - since maybe you'd need that option. Hmm.Estes Park does everything they can to encourage visitation. Thus with a relative abundance of close-in, city-maintained, free parking lots. There is a time limit of 3 hours in the summer to encourage a certain turn-over, but one could as easily just move a short distance away after that time. Although, at certain busy times, you may find yourself exploring the outer reaches of town to find an empty spot.Silverton , park where you like. Well, almost. One establishment with a sign before it reading: 'Don't even think about parking here.'

In most areas, it's OK and you can always park in the main parking garage off of the main street.
