My husband has a long term project with USC and we will be moving. My friends say Columbia is not very nice, and I'm starting to see what they mean. I'm concerned because one of my two youngest is about to start school and I want to make sure we can find a good Montessori school. The last time we were in Columbia, we went by the Montessori School of Columbia and I left feeling uneasy. The people were rude and didn't have a positive image. The school was in a bad area of the city. I heard there is another called Montessori Early Learning Center. Is this in a better area of town? Is it a better school? Does it include elementary or just preschool? We drive back over tomorrow for a few days and I want to see this other school.
