I love the Irmo area. I am here sort of temporarily while my husband is deployed (came down from VA.) I have been in and out of this area for the past 20 years since my parents live here. We live off of North Lake/Hwy 6 in Irmo, and love that it is not so busy up here, but I can get to Lexington easily, and shoot to I-26 easily. My kids attend Irmo Elementary, and I absolutely love it. The staff is great and they have made so many more friends than they did at their old school in VA.
