NW to NE and NW to SE are likely to most in demand Suburb to Suburb Routes... Spoke model may work well for intown routes and commuter routes out to Lexington and the Airport. I believe there are commuter routes to Sumter, Camden and Newberry but they may be gone now due to the pandemic.
I need to ask again but I think there's a Park n Ride route to Sumter Still. I drove out there to go to a friends house recently and I saw the Park n Ride with the COMET logo there.

I got some insight on the future of the Soda Cap Connector.

They are bringing back the Five Points Stops and are adding new stops. They are also implementing Rider enhancements to make traveling as easy as possible and more coming but they want to hear some Riders and potential new riders. The project is set to launch in October.

they are also replacing the buses with the Smaller buses instead of the 35 footers. They are taking suggestions on routes stops etc.

I already asked about Streetcar services and they said not currently under discussion but with grants funding its possible. They are working to improve their current fleet first to maximize its efficiency then look into adding new modes of transit.

I think the Comet partnering with USC Shuttle was a smart move.. I have seen many students riding these buses around the downtown area. I also think that this generation of college student do not seem to be as adverse to riding transit and many may come from cities where transit is more popular.

I wonder if Greyhound will move down to River Drive to co locate there? I doubt it though. As much as Buckner Road is not friendly to passengers or connectivity.. I am sure Greyhound loves it because of the "on and off" access to I-20.. Maybe, at a minimum, it will move into Flying Js where people can at least access to food and amenities.
