I'm looking for a decently priced restaurant, preferably within walking distance of the Colonial Life Arena. Local staples are fine, I'd love to know what chains are around as well.

This should help: The Congaree Vista Guild: Business & Service in the Columbia Vista of South Carolina (http://www.vistacolumbia.com/maincategory.asp?Search=Dining - broken link)

All of these are within walking distance of Colonial Life Arena.

There are lots of restaurants within walking distance of the CLA. I like Bullmarket for Greek, Liberty Tap Room for general grub, Blue Marlin for seafood, Sakitumi for sushi and Z Pizza for California style pizza. They're all within a few blocks.

A new place on that list and probably the closest to the Arena is The Thirsty Fellow. It bills itself as a pizza and pub place but check it out. They have a great atmosphere, loads of flat screen tvs, full bar, and some really good pizza along with a menu full of other offerings.
