My Family and I are looking at houses off Dublin Road (such as neighborhoods as "The Glen"). Is this a nice part of Hilliard being so close to Robert's Road?

The people that I know in "The Glen" seem to like it just fine. You're north of Roberts Road toward the eastern edge of the district. Should be no problem. There is quite a bit of road construction going on in the area right now, but it will improve the overall infrastructure, especially the widening of Hilliard-Rome Road.

We've lived in the area for 8 years and have enjoyed the community and the schools. We have found the schools to be good. The vast majority of Hilliard CSD graduates go on to post-secondary education and the schools have many options available in athletics, arts and music also. FYI, there is a levy on the ballot this November.

Hilliard CSD met 28/30 indicators last year and had a Permance Index of 100.2, but did not meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and had an overall label of "Continuous Improvement". It looks like Hilliard CSD will meet either 29 or 30 indicators this year (probably 30), but I'm not sure if AYP will be met. An increasing number of districts that perform well overall on the State Tests (Worthington, Pickerington and this year - probably Dublin) are being affected by this measure. Of course, standardized test scores are just one indicator of a school district's effectiveness. Good Luck!

I used to live near the corner of Roberts and Hilliard-Rome and it was a nice area to live. This was several years ago, so the area has built up quite a bit more. Traffic was always a concern in the area. They're widening the roads there, but I'm not sure how much this will realistically fix the problem in a continously growing area. Other than that, crime is low and the schools are good, so you shouldn't have any significant issues.
