My computer keeps freezing every few minutes and I have to reboot it. The disk usage is at 100% which is weird because there are only like 5 processes running with highest one being below 2 Mb/s.
Any ideas?
I've looked online and people all over are having this problem with a variety of resolutions. I've tried a couple to no avail, was wondering anyone had a better idea to pin-point the problem.
I'd try and figure out first WHY the disk is full, elnina's suggestion is great but if you have to download and install anything other then what you have installed already or are required to update defs you are SOL...
You likely have many more than 5 processes running. Go into task manager > performance tab > resource monitor button and take a look at the disk tab, it should tell you what is reading/writing.
I went under System >> Troubleshooting >> and then ran trouble-shooting on Windows Update, Security, etc... I believe the Windows update one fixed it as it found some issues. Problem hasn't happened since...
It does get confusing when trying to describe what's going on with computers. There are so many things to look at, then you have to explain it on a forum.
