Someone has been following me all over the internet...from forums to yutube. She seems to know all my online screen names especially the sites I used the same user name. She even admitted that she is keeping track of me. She lives in different Country, presumably .

Could she have installed some type of software into my PC?How to prevent her from monitoring my PC?

Your question is hard to answer, to many possibilities.

If she knows you well, and knows your user name then simple googling that user name will show what you have been up to.

Then there is a mental disorder where people believe they are being followed. It usually ends badly when left without medical treatment.

Then there is software that one can install and log in into another computer. Logmein and TeamViewer are popular names and are free for personal use.

Both those software programs require they be installed on both computers in order to communicate. Unless the follower has access to the OPs computer it's not a threat.

The only way you can stop (or attempt to) is to change your user name on sites so the person following you doesn't know it's you. Also change your passwords (even if you keep the same user name). They might still be able to follow you if they can figure out the new name, but it's better than nothing.

An alternative is to dump the existing account and start a new one.

If the person following you is someone you know and you give your friends the new info you are back at square one.

A new computer doesn't change your username. She is just googling your email or username and then going to the same site that you do.

I changed my user names but I am not sure if that would help of she knows where to find my threads since the new name would be connected to it. I was just wondering if she installed some type of software to get into my PC.Or maybe she's just computer Savy?

No your PC is fine. If she hacked into your computer she would be doing a lot worse things than "following you around on forums".

She is just googling your usernames and email addresses and following you around on the internet.
