There was a website that let you know if your drivers were up to date..haven't used it in a long time...whats the website? or a website that does the same thing WITHOUT having to download something.

There is such a huge number of manufactures of hardware, of a huge mix of hardware, and likewise software, that it's extremely hard to cover all possibilities.

Some of the latest motherboards come with software that looks out at some of the connected equipment and check to see if their drivers are up to date, and there are some websites that download inspection software that scans your system and comparse what it finds to their own database of hardware vs OS vs drivers. I don't think you could get that kind of functionality without some kind of scanning utility.

However, you can find independent scanning utilities (not associated with fee-based driver update websites). You might try them.

The one I've been using for over a decade provides a very detailed systems inventory (hardware and software, Model and Serial numbers) is:

Most of the time, I just go to the manufacturer's website and run a diagnostic. I'm sure there might be a third party site that's a catch all, but wouldn't it be just as easy going to the manufacturer's website under support?

DRIVERS FOR A COMPUTER you nimrods. lol Your LICENSE has an expiration date printed on it.

DO NOT do those websites where they check all you drivers for you. THose are scam sites trying to get you to buy the software. WIndows will keep your computer up to date.
Are you having a problem?

So funny!

True story: there was a PC Tech guy at an office I used to work at. His real name was Nimrod! He was an excellent PC guy. But I couldn't help but wonder why his parents gave him that name.

After a quick search, this description describes it best:

In most English-speaking countries, Nimrod is used to denote a hunter or warrior, because the biblical Nimrod is described as "a mighty hunter".

In American English, however, the term has acquired a derogatory meaning of "idiot".

Similar to how we now use "Well, Einstein...."

Unless you're having a specific problem, device drivers don't need regular updating, and using a 3rd party service to update them can be problematic. Visit your computer manufacturer's website if you feel you need an update.
