I am running a dual G5 processor computer with os x 10.4.11(tiger) with a Logitech keyboard. What I don't have is an apple keyboard and I am trying to figure out how to eject an empty dvd drive tray since the logitech keyboard doesn't have a media eject key.
You can either just hold F12 down, or you can customize your finder to include an eject button: Open up a folder so you have the finder up, then goto View -> customize toolbar. That will give you additional icons to put on your finder, and eject is one of them. You would simply drag the icon to the tool bar.
type "drutil tray eject" in terminal
or try itune eject
