Stamford would be your best bet, Weston and Wilton apartments would be hard to come by. Stamford would offer a lot of choice that could suit your budget.

Stamford or Norwalk.

Furnished will have to be a pretty small place at $1800.

You mean Westport? Weston is very rural and has virtually no rentals.

Westport is expensive and you probably won't be able to afford it at your budget. Wilton is marginally less expensive than Westport.

For ease of commute, I would recommend Norwalk. IT has a lot of apartments while the other towns mentioned really do not and if they did they would be very expensive. IF Norwalk is not to your liking, then I would recommend looking in Fairfield or the Danbury area. The commute would be longer though. JMHO, Jay

Yes, Danbury is a good suggestion for lower priced rentals. Less expensive than most other options. However, it will be a 30-40 minute commute on Route 7 - which is more of a "secondary" road vs. a true highway.

The little bit I really know about Norwalk is it can be kind of rough to lifestyles of the rich and famous, and everything in between. It has different areas with quite different flavors. Gl -m

I am always surprised when posters say they got a job in Wilton. It doesn't look like a lot of jobs in that town.
