My family and I have our eyes on some of the beatiful land for sale in CT. Our main concern is the hassle from city regulators and taxes. Is anyone familiar with any issues I should be concerned about before setting out to do major research?

Taxes are based on the value of the property. Generally newer homes are valued higher so their taxes are higher. I do not htink property taxes here are nearly as high as New York though. The best way to judge it is to look at new or newer homes in the area you want and see what thier taxes are like. That should give you an idea. Jay
