Hi --

Does anyone know which stations have free parking on weekends?

Thanks!

I know fairfield use to have it. Their system is to place envelops on cars that are parked in designated spaces during the week. But I believe they do not do it on weekends and you can park anywhere. Call the towns and ask. Jay

Smile Free Weekend Train Parking at Noroton Heights

Noroton Heights (Darien - at exit 10 off of I-95) has free weekend parking on the side of the tracks closest to I-95.

I'm pretty sure you're okay anywhere where you're not required to park in a garage (like South Norwalk or Stamford). From experience, Darien is definitely fine.

Fairfield has free parking for sure, lots of space to park as well. I've never seen the parking lot full over a weekend, so you should be fine.

On a sidenote, if you're planning to take the train from Fairfield on a weekday, there is free parking about a 5 mins walk from the train station. Down Reef Road, past 7-11, the streets do not have a parking time-limit.

Stratford has free parking on weekends, on the side where New Haven bound trains stop.
