Hi All,
My wife and I welcomed our new baby boy into the family a few weeks ago...and we are trying to figure out where we can go to enjoy the upcoming fall weather.

Our wish list: paved paths for stroller, dog friendly (on-leash is fine), and in or near Fairfield County, and, obviously, not in a sketchy area.

We liked to go to Cranberry Park in Norwalk to walk the doggie, but the paths there are unpaved and won't work for a stroller/newborn. So, something similar maybe?

Thank you in advance!

Old Mine Park in Trumbull has a lot of paved paths and there are usually a lot of dogs there.

Congratulations!

Look for a "Rails to Trails" path. I'm not sure about all the trails, but the ones in Trumbull and Monroe allow dogs:

Winslow Park in Westport and Lake Mohegan in Fairfield are both off leash dog parks. Winslow is more of a suburban park with paved walkways. Lake Mohegan does not have paved walkways so you would need a heavy duty stroller. Although it is by far the best dog park around. It is something like 200+ acres with a lake, waterfalls and meadows. It is amazing.
