Driving in the Litchfield Hills area of CT, there is an empty big Stone House on a hill w/ a river in the back yard has a steep hill. There is an old man who I talked too he was burning wire in a fireplace. There was a char broil type grill dining place on the same side up the hill. Across was a grassy lot w/ basically nothing. DO you what road???

Rte 6 in Woodbury? Is the stone house under construction (and has been for at least the last 20 years)? It's right after the Charcoal Chef restaurant.

Maybe Cadillac Joe's stone house on RT 6 in Woodbury ? There is a restaurant called the Charcoal Chef just up the road from it. Restaurant is 670 North Main St. ( RT 6) Woodbury - a small river runs behind both. The link has photos of the house

you got it. Yes it was under construction for 20 years never to be finished. Thanks so much!! I met that crazy old man who owns the home. I thought he needed money because he was homeless. Well when I asked him do you need money, he looked at me and said no do you?? Took out his wallet and was going to hand me money!!! The area was beautiful. Thanks!
