Yes, but what team is the biggest road draw in baseball - the Yankees. Because, everybody that hates them turns out to watch them hopefully get beat by the home team.

I get your point but that surely does not apply to women's college b ball. They would be better served with diversity.. besides those actually have a chance against the Yankees. To sit there and pat these coaches on the back for taking the best women and winning by 40 every night is not much of an accomplishment ..sorry.

Women's basketball would be better served with 32 or hell even 16 teams in the tournament. All the All-Americans go to Tennessee, Stanford, UConn and Baylor with Duke, UNC, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M & Oklahoma State sprinkled in there. This year there was no parity what-so-ever, UConn and ND were the 2 best teams by a mile and it wasn't even close.

I went to Sunday's game, and while ND had a great year, IMO, Stanford played a slightly better game versus UConn than ND tonight. While Stewart and Dolson were wonderful tonight, the guards for UConn played much better Sunday.

I see nothing wrong though with 64 teams. Of course, the first 2 rounds are easy for the top seeds, but I am seeing better teams on the women's end even as low as the 7 or 8 seed than ever before.
