While I know many people are not fans of this type of Christmas tree, I am. In the 6 years I've lived here, I've never come across a place that carries them or will flock one for you. I'm on the shoreline, but am willing to drive anywhere in the state...

I had to look this up because I had no idea what birds had to do with Christmas trees. So your looking for a place to spray fake snow onto a tree for you? I've never heard of this or seen it until now. I would just pickup a few cans of this at a store or online and go to town in your yard on the tree when you get it home.

Thank you for the response, clutchrider. While I know doing it myself seems like the obvious solution, it's quite a bit different than one that's been "done." At our tree lots in California, where I am from originally, it's quite common to have this as an option. The tree is placed in a tent of sorts and an industrial sprayer is used. It comes out quite thick and looks amazing ]I've never seen anything like it here, most probably because you are all so sick of snow. : ) I'm going to keep up the search!

Sorry but it is just not popular enough here. People who want that look will just buy a fake tree. If someone goes for a live tree they want the real thing without any flocking. Good luck in your search. Jay

Yeah even in my time in Ohio I've never heard or seen it so it must be a West Coast/warmer climate thing where people do not get snow (at least in most parts). Around here people will just pickup a fake tree with the snow look and call it a day.

Maybe you can start a franchise out here for the service and have it at the farms or tree lots on a trailer.

On the Christmas Tree note... Saw on Shark Tank there is a guy/company that rents real trees.
He will ship it to you then pick it up. You can even use the same tree again next year. I assume it stays in the Root Ball Burlap.

Nevermind, it's just CA for now.

My brother-in-law in Georgia gets a flocked tree every year so I do think it may be a warm weather area thing. Not my cup of tea but good luck in your search.

I though a live flocked tree was a tree still alive, not cut and the roots still in place in a bucket, guess not.

A tree with roots would be too heavy for most people to handle. Still a few people do this. A live tree is commonly considered to be a real tree that has been cut down and placed in a stand for decoration. Jay

You can still get Angel Hair (cloud like spun glass fluff) or iridescent Twinkle fluff that I think is like shimmer poly fill consistency. Would not use either on a fake tree though, and if you go with angel hair you really need gloves while applying it.
