I feel like I would find that writer annoying in real life lol.

But yeah CT as the first primary-that's never ever ever going to happen.

Yep - it's the parties that schedule the primaries. The state can have their own but under the threat of not having their delegates count, they simply won't.

Primaries should be regional and say from lowest ecs to highest and take maybe eight weeks at most. We don't need long drawn out six month processes

I don't disagree. They should be broken up by region with a primary every 2 weeks of 12 or 13 states/commonwealths/districts with those rotating every 4 years.
