I use my Ipad to watch streaming televison and movies--
but the volume for much of that varies a great deal
I have a plug in speaker but think I would prefer headphones or headset to use
I am not much for ear buds--don't use them because can't get any that are comfortable really so am thinking a set of over-the-ear headphones would be best--
I am also a little hard of hearing in one ear so headphones seem like they would contain the sound better than earbuds

have been looking at Amazon and Best Buy sites
any recommendation for good quality for less than $100--
I don't listen to music so it wouldn't really be worth it to go for something like a Bose unit but if the quality isn't semi-decent you can't understand some dialogue --especially when it is British English spoken...

appreciate any suggestions, especially if you are using them with IPad 2

thanks

Why does this thread say Bluetooth? Did the OP need Bluetooth? Or just a pair of over the ear headphones?

I wanted bluetooth headphones so I didn't have to worry about a cord connecting to my IPad
I normally watch it while I am ironing and didn't need a cord tripping me up

am happy with the ones I got--so far--
except after a couple of hours they make my ears sore

just an update--
for a very inexpensive pair of wireless headphones these are working very well so far
I have to be careful that I turn them off when I am not using them or the battery will die but I can use them as they recharge--have a cord but better than having to wait to recharge to use them...

if anyone is looking for pair $50, I think you couldn't find a better

hey, would you like the around neck design bluetooth earbuds? I think it fit security, comfortable to wear. You only leave it around your neck, even under the collar shirt all day that you forget you are wearing a headphone. Some types such as : Sol Replublic Shadow, LG Ultra Tone Series Infinim and more here: Top Four Great Around-Neck Design Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds/Headsets - The best earbuds
