I am going to throw this out and see if I can get any help. I have an RCA shelf stereo and when I play the cd's only 1 speaker will work but if I have it on the tuner the sounds plays in both speakers. When I use the headphones we get the same response. Also the unit came with a demo and it only plays out of the 1 speaker as well. I know it has to be something internal but not sure if it can be fixed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
If the unit is a single piece of equipment, then you're probably not going to be able to do anything about it. If it's a component system and the CD player is a separate piece of equipment, check to make sure that all the connecting cables are properly attached, and if possible, swap them out with different ones to see if the cable itself is the problem.

Good luck.
Yeah, it is a single unit with the speakers plugging into it. I was just wondering if it was something that could be fixed cheap or just buy a new unit, we only paid $100.00 for it but it does have good sound.
