I would like to take my Grandkids fishing in the near future. I live in between Cookeville and Livingston, and I heard about City Lake in Livingston? Just wondering if anyone has information on this lake or any other fishing spots close by? Fishing for Crappie, Bass, etc. What is the limit for each fish, size you can keep, etc. What months are good to go? TIA

David

Its been years since I've been fishing other than in my pond and a long time since I fished in Livingston city lake so I cant help your there, hopefully someone else can. You can get the information or pamphlet from TWRA on size limits and number of fish permitted. https://www.eregulations.com/tenness...ts-regulations
One used to be able to get the printed booklets where fishing license and such are sold.

Found this link to some info.

You might also consider Twin Lakes Catfish Farm for a good place to take the grand-kids. They can fish and the onsite restaurant has the best catfish around imo.
