My husbands job will be relocating us to Alice TX. We can live in a 30 mile radius from Alice so Corpus is out of the question. Is there any surrounding areas in that radius better, such as kingsville? What are the better areas of town in those locations? We want the nicer or upscale areas. Also public schools, how are they and what are the best ones for elementary? Any help or advice for these areas would be great. Thanks

I think you might be better off in Orange Grove, but I'm from San Antonio, so I'm not quite the best person to ask.
Sandia is a tiny bit further and might be just as nice.
George West is probably the nicest, but it is 40 minutes, which is a little far, even with hardly any traffic.
