This happened last week in my community. It was so stupid as well as criminal. I am asking others to please post warnings of leaving dogs in a hot car in their community forums so we can possibly keep this kind of senseless tragedy from happening again.
I am still amazed and disgusted that people can forget their children or their pets. This is criminal and is deserving of more than disciplinary action. This should be considered a felony and I hope that this community steps up. I am heartsick over this. What a beautiful dog.
People are just plain stupid. I remember when I lived in Arizona and a mother "forgot" her daughter was in the car and she died of heat stroke, too. You never seemed to hear this crap years ago--are people just getting dumber?

Its highly unlikely you'd be charged in such a case and even less likely a jury would find you guilty.
You would think someone training a service dog would know better!
